For many years icons were not considered to be part of the Western Christian Church, but rather part of the Eastern Orthodox tradition. However times have changed and Christ Church is holding an exhibition of art inspired by icons running from June 10th – June 19th. Miriam Gormally met Ludmila Pawlowska, who is the artist and the Canon of Christ Church, Patrick Comerford to ask them about the significance of this exhibition. She began by asking Ludmila what drew her to creating art that was inspired by icons.
