What are the Church’s true teachings? Michael Kelly, editor of the Irish Catholic says that the Gospel message is a simple one. Contrary to books such as Dan Browne’s Angels and Daemons or the numerous articles online that look for hidden secrets within the church, Michael says that the message of the Gospel is simple and clear for all: it asks us to treat others as we would like to be treated and to be honest and fair in our dealings with others. The problem he says is not that the teaching is complicated or hard to understand but that people struggle to implement its message.
