Founder of Social Arcade, a cutting edge gaming company, Mariano Di Murro, recently had an innovate career opportunity – he went from making computer games to working in the Vatican. Answering Pope Francis’ appeal to bring about change that would save the planet, he found himself living in the Vatican working on a project to reduce waste. Along with other teams from all around the world, his team was invited to pitch ideas to the cardinals and then ultimately Pope Francis that would makes the greatest social impact. Di Murro’s team came up with an idea to save paper, by creating an application that would reduce the need for big businesses to print out large documents.

Conor Deane asked him more about the project and how they heard about the initiative from the Vatican.
