Eddie Lyle is president of Open Doors UK & Ireland. He is returning to Lebanon for his fifth visit and he looks at the Church’s response to the Syrian refugee crisis. He looks at various forms of persecution around the world. He focuses in particular on Christian persecution and how the Church is one body and that the persecution of Christians in any country effects the whole body of the Church. He points to the fact that in fifty nations around the world there is Christian persecution and considers how the Church of Ireland can help. He begins by explaining to Peter Cheney what he has seen in Lebanon and how the Church has evolved in its response to the refugee crisis.
