sowing the seed

In this second piece with Sr Loreto or Evelyn Mc Laughlin, author and former school principal, she talks about the people in her life and the impact that they had on her. She talks about how life is about “sowing the seed” and that the Kingdom of Heaven is about the goodness and growth that takes place when “we allow God to take over”. She talks about her friend Fr. Michael Courtney an Irish missionary who was shot down, adding that despite everything, we are in God’s hands and how that gives her ease and security in her later years. She begins by talking about her grandniece Aoife who is diagnosed with achondroplasia, a condition that limits growth. She explains more to Pat Coyle.
