The Taliban is becoming increasingly powerful in Pakistan, reviving some of the earlier fears that people have surrounding Islam. But do we really know what Islam is about and what are the positive aspects of the religion?  Miriam Gormally spoke with Patrick Commerford, Director of Spiritual Formation at the Church of Ireland Theological Institute, and Canon of Christ Church Cathedral Dublin. He has written widely on the topic of different religions, particularly Islam. Miriam Gormally asked him whether it was true to say that people in Ireland are generally nervous of Islam.
