Lent is a time for moderation and after the excesses of St. Patrick’s day, moderation in alcohol is something many of us want to strive for. But few of us would think of going the extra step and becoming a pioneer. Pat Coyle met Dermot Fagan who is young, Irish and a pioneer; three things that don’t usually go together. Pat put it to Dermot that the current pioneers are an organisation without much of a profile in modern Ireland.
