We are constantly hearing and reading about the huge changes around the celebration of the First Communion Day – designer dresses, fake tans, nails, hair dos and so on ….. is this reality? Has the whole meaning of the importance of the day for the child and his/her family been forgotten? Debbie Robinson is a Mother whose second daughter is receiving her First Communion this year and Eileen Good asked her for her views on whether it was all ‘hype’ or reality.
