The philosopher and social critic Os Guinness believes that Americans are approaching the point where they are at odds with the guiding principles upon which their state is founded. The paradox is amplified in his book ‘A Free People’s Suicide’.  In Dublin for an RTE ‘Would You Believe?’ special and the annual C.S. Lewis lecture, Guinness began by talking to Paul Loughlin about his book and explained that ages of greatest success can be times of greatest danger.
