To celebrate International Woman’s Day, we have a song for Mary Magdalen sung by Noirin Ni Riain and the Monks of Glenstal Abbey.
Mary Magdalen represents the Church of Christ, both male and female. But history has often omitted or degraded her, which has been considered symbolic of the general treatment of women. This song and poem celebrates her story and her true place as an apostle and the divine connection she established with Jesus.
