Passing on the message of recycling is very important -particularly to younger people.  The green flag is an initiative to encourage schools to recycle.  It was awarded to Colaiste Bride after a year and a half of hard work.  Miriam Gormally met Rachael O’Connor, a teacher and Sarah Heffernan a student to find out how they managed to win the award for the school.  Miriam first asked Rachel to explain what the award was and what they had to do to qualify.
