Hurrahing in harvest

Sr Loreto also known as Evelyn McLaughlin thought she had said all that she wanted to say in her biography “Down the Arches of the Years”. But then she was struck by two events that changed her life and made her reconsider what her life was about. One was a mugging, the other the death of her sister. Here she talks with Pat Coyle about how being close to death on both of those experiences made her realize that even in her 80’s, she was still being called to grow and learn and live life to the full.

What a beautiful interview. Loreto’s voice sounds so young and, when she speaks of her enthusiasm about so many things, her spirit comes from a heart that is forever young. Many thanks!
