The words “I Arise Today” from the prayer of St. Patrick are very powerful.  They portray an enthusiasm and a vibrancy that is designed to reignite and energise Christianity.  They were the words chosen as the title of a conference looking at how modern Christianity can have new life breathed into it.  In this piece from 2007 Miriam Gormally met Edith Prendergast RSC at the conference and asked her about this message from the conference.
