This March 28th marks the fifth centenary of the birth of St Teresa of Avila. “Let Nothing Trouble You” is a book by Eugene McCaffrey OCD written as a tribute to her remarkable story. Putting together pieces from her writings, he reminds of how openly she shares her humanity with everyone, helping us to access our own. Her words hold a universal truth pointing to the transience of life but that the ultimate, unchanging truth is found within the heart’s deep core. Miriam Gormally spoke with Eugene to find out more.
