The Church has been in the media a great deal recently, mostly for scandals and abuse stories, but what of the good things being done daily by people involved with the Church.  Fr. Gerry Maloney, editor of Reality magazine, recently launched “The Reality Awards” to encourage the Irish public to show appreciation for those involved in the Church by nominated people and groups to receive an Award.  Miriam Gormally asked Gerry to explain why he launched these awards.
