Self-reflection and challenging oneself by living among people from a different community is one of the most important aspects of self development. Sli Eile is an organisation, which offers young people this opportunity. They run “live-in” programmes where people go to socially disadvantaged areas or developing countries and work among them. Debbie Moore is the director of the organisation. Miriam Gormally met with her and asked about the origin and aims of Sli Eile.
