Christmas is a time of over indulgence and expenditure. While this is all in good fun, it can also stress the world’s resources and lead to a great deal of waste. Miriam Gormally met Catherine Brennan SSL and Helen Sheil, both of whom are involved with eco-congregations, a new initiative aimed at making churches and congregations greener places. Miriam first asked Catherine whether ecology was relevant to the Christmas story.
