The issue of Aid is a contentious one a book Dead Aid by Dambisa Moyo, a western-educated Zambian banker, which argued that the “most generous thing you can do is say no” caused great controversy. Peader King is director of What in the World an RTE series that looks at development issues and he argues that in fact he has seen many cases where without aid, situations would be much worse.
