Rio +20 is currently (June 20-22) taking place to look at the issue of sustainable development. It is placing a particular emphasis on climate change and intergenerational equity. Miriam Gormally met Judith Turbine from Progressio Ireland. Progressio Ireland is an independent Irish international development organisation, with a particular interest in water. Miriam put it to Judith that there have been many conferences, but little action and asked whether Rio +20 will be any different.
